The Arogya Foundation for the Disabled was born to support disabled people in Sri Lanka enables people with disabilities to improve their life skills. Founded three years ago, the Foundation continues to render their service all over the country and nearly 150 patients have been received necessary medical equipments such as crutches, walking sticks, wheel chairs, etc. The Foundation is a non-profit organization, founded by Rev Unapana Ariyadhamma Thero and registered in Sri Lanka in year 2008.

Donation worth 108600 from Mr. W.R.A. Nandana Prasad Wijesinge and friends


Miss Shalika Deepanjalee Rajapaksa was received LKR 108,600 money to make artificial arm. This amount was donated by the Mr. W.R.A. Nandana Prasad Wijesinge and friends who live in Italy. The donation ceremony was held at the 02nd August 2010 at the at NalandaRamaya, Pathiragoda, Maharagama, Sri lanka. The picture shows the Miss Shalika Deepanjalee Rajapaksa wsa received the donation from M.A. Vinefred Vijayamarasinghe. Udahamulle Saranapala Thero, Director General of the foundation Unapana Ariyadhamma Thero, President Prof Ariyapala Perera, Upali Jayaratna and Gamini Dahanayaka,also present at the occasion.
