In response to our appeal to face book friends Madam Leong siew yin and philanthropists in overseas donated note books and pens to the Arogya Foundation for distribution amon...g 250 destitute students living under the care of welfare centres and children societies in Sri Lanka. The picture depicts the occasion when donations received by Rev. Unapana Ariyadhamma Thero the Director General of the Arogy Foundation for the Disabled was handed over to Mrs. Manoja Shyamali Perera the Child Rights Promoting Officer of the Kasbewa Divisional Secretariat. The presentation will take place on 4th October, 2013 at the celebration scheduled to mark the World Children’s day organized by the Divisional Secretariat, Kasbewa, in the Western Province of Sri Lanka.
